Ariana Raven Rabinovitch is the co-founder of New York Stretch and the founder of Yoga Research and Beyond (YRB), a yoga research literacy platform for teachers. She has been teaching and training clients since 2009, beginning as a yoga instructor before becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Her study of anatomy and biomechanics under educators like Jules Mitchell inspired her to launch YRB in 2017, giving teachers more access to research. The same year, she became a certified stretch specialist in FST, and in 2018 she co-founded New York Stretch – a stretch studio by Grand Central. Ariana continues to work with private clients online and in New York City. She traces her commitment to fitness back to her grandfather, a podiatrist who taught her early that staying active is not optional. She sees movement as a resource for well-being. The body is resilient and adaptable. There is always a way forward.
“What I appreciate about her is that she eschews the fast & furious workout in favor of mindful and practical strength in movement. I also noticed this morning how much firmer my butt seems lately...just sayin'..."
