I co-wrote Exposing Yoga Myths with my friends and colleagues, Melissa Gutierrez and Kim Lien-Kendall. We combined our experience as yoga and movement professionals with our shared love of science and research to tackle yoga myths that range from the silly to the serious.

In a fun, straightforward writing style, we address some popular assumptions about yoga, helping you sort out yoga fact from yoga fiction.

 

I started the Yoga and Beyond podcast in 2015 to share conversations about WHY and HOW yoga teachers teach. The "beyond" part reflects how yoga fits into to the bigger picture of human movement and scientific research.

In the first 50+ episodes I interviewed authors, biomechanists, physical therapists, pilates teachers, rolfers, chiropractors, yoga teachers
and others.

The final episodes are candid conversations with colleagues about peer-reviewed research on topics like headstands, osteoporosis and benefits of stretching.
